This is a t-shirt design a coworker asked for . "Proud mother of a knee-jerk liberal". Its an often used picture of my friend Andrea's son Orion and a nice experimentation with two color design.

Fur Rondy Memories
This is a comic I was asked to do on short notice for the Fur Rondy guide book. For those not in the know, the Fur Rondy has been going on for years and years. It involved the traditional fur trade and the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. It had a great parade, snow sculptures, pancake feeds, snowshoe softball, street racing. It all takes place outside in February, when it is especially cold and inhospitable, but it helps everyone get over the hump. It looked like last year was going to be the last, but it got restructured for the new millennium, so we'll see how it goes. All I really care about are the pancakes and the parade candy really. No really.
This strip is about my memories of just being cold and eating frozen candy off the ground. Its what Fur Rondy means to me apart from pancakes.
